The project on the picture is for solve a problem of the culvert skew to the highway. If t he culvert in large diameter, when we design we have to consider if the culvert end has a enough strength to bearing the load from the highway. The large diameter culvert end is easy to deformation specially when it is skew to the highway, then we design a profile steam beam ring on the end of the culvert, increasing its strength to avoid the steel structure deformation and end wall crack up.
