Corrugated Metal Culvert Arch Structure

MULTI-PLATE round arch shapes are the most widely used structures for aggregate tunnels. Special features such as hopper openings, conveyor supports, bulkheads, escape laterals and elbows to accommodate grade changes and alignment are readily integrated. Plate structures can also be utilized to extend and improve mine entrances, providing protection from falling rocks and debris.

MULTI-PLATE is available in spans to 26 feet, and can be arranged and curved to make a variety of shapes including pipe, pipe-arch, horizontal and vertical ellipses, arches and underpasses.

Meets your site needs in full compliance with AASHTO, ASTM & AREMA design standards for highway and railway use.

Our Structural Plate products can be used for fish passages and wildlife crossings. The ability of Structural Plate products to span the delineated area reduces the need for permitting and allows for quick installation.

Bridges and large culverts can be relined by erecting our plate structures inside existing structures. Or, the new plate structure can be erected outside and threaded into existing openings. Our Plate Structures, including Two-Flange Liner Plate, are delivered to the job site unassembled. The plates and ribs are easily bolted together to form various shapes: round, vertical and horizontal ellipse, pipe-arch, underpass and arch.

Plate structures allow highway agencies and municipalities to dramatically reduce construction time and traffic disruptions when replacing our nation’s aging infrastructure. Plate bridges are ideally suited for emergency bridge replacements.
