Corrugation 200X55mm introduction

This corrugation is a medium size, it has a strong performance, but it is a little weak than corrugation 152X51mm because it has contraction rate. In theory, if similar size corrugation, the proportion of corrugation pitch and depth can stand for the strength of the corrugation. Smaller pitch, bigger depth will has a stronger performance. Then it is obviously 200X55mm is a little weaker than 152X51mm. In the actual work, we consider the corrugation 200X55mm and corrugation 152X51mm are same performance, and it is no problem, because they are so similar.

Effective width of the corrugated steel pipe in corrugation 200X55mm

We can produce corrugation 200X55mm structure plate in 5 waves and 6 waves, 5 waves, the effective width is 1000mm, and 6 waves effective width is 1200mm. For exporting, most customer prefer 5 waves, because it is simple to load in container and can save space. As we know, the container width is 2300mm, if we load 6 waves corrugated pipe, it is impossible to put two piles of corrugated plate, because if two piles in line, their width is 2400mm, bigger than 2300mm. But if we load 5 waves corrugated pipe, put two piles in line, the width is 2000mm. Then if we use 20Gp, it can load 8 piles of 5 wave corrugated pile, but only 4 piles of 6 wave corrugated pipe.

What is multi plate?

On lots of articles of corrugated steel pipe, or on the quotations of corrugated steel pipe, we often see the initial letter is MP. The MP just means Multi Plate. It had become a model of the corrugated steel pipe. MP200, means the assembled corrugated steel pipe in corrugation 200X55mm, so it is easy to understand the model meaning now.

Normally, the diameter less than 3m, we design 3 corrugated structure plate in each ring. Then the multi plate means 3 pieces of corrugated steel plate. And when the diameter is bigger than 3m, then what is the diameter, we design the same quantity of corrugated steel plate to the diameter size. For example, the diameter 4m corrugated pipe, then we design it 4 pieces of corrugated steel plate in each ring, then the multi means the diameter size.
