The difference is circumferential direction assemble is not overlap connection, it is flanged connection.
The design of flanged nestable corrugated steel pipe
This corrugated steel pipe is combined by 2 pieces of half circle shape structure plate for one ring. On each side of the half circle plate, there is one flange. The flange is created by bending, it can not be welding, it has a strict request in the production standard. Normally, its corrugation size is 68X13mm. The circumferential direction connection is put the two plate flange together, then tight bolt and nuts, the axial direction assemble is overlap connection, the big side of structure plate overlap on the small side of another structure plate, then connected by bolts and nuts.
We can produce it in diameter from 700mm to 1500mm, sure if want bigger diameter, we also can produce, but we do not suggest, because this type of corrugated steel pipe is in thin thickness and small corrugation size, so it does not have enough strength to meet big diameter strength request.
Advantage of flanged nestable corrugated steel pipe
Because it has two flange, it is easier to assemble, so when we install the culvert, we can finish assembling soon, it can save more cost. And it has a better performance of preventing leaking. Between the flange, there are seals for anti leak, also the flange has better anti leaking performance than overlap assembling connection method.
