Tunnel Liner Assembling No Need to Excavate

We can not see the tunnel liner in China, or other countries in the world, but in middle and south America, it has a widely application. This is an exclusive design, when we have a projection, we do not need to excavate, just assemble the tunnel liner plate inside of the tunnel is OK. How we can achieve this function, it is because its difference structure design.

  1. Firstly, it has flange on both side.
    The flange can not be welding, it has to be bending, because in the product standard, it does not allowed to weld. On each flange, there are round holes for bolts, the flange is for the axial direction of the culvert, because the flange, we can fix the bolts inside of the tunnel, so the axial direction assemble inside of tunnel is no problem.
  2. Secondly, its end holes for bolts are square shape.
    The square shape is for the special bolts, as we know the bolt shank is cylindrical, but for the tunnel liner end, we adopt the bolts with a square neck. The square hole is just for seizing the square neck, then when we put the bolts in the square hole, when we tight the nuts on the bolts, the bolts will not turn. So we can tight the bolts and nuts inside the tunnel.
  3. Thirdly, it has a special clamp
    3.Fix the end bolts by the square holes, after tight the nuts, for preventing the nuts loose, we also have a clamp. It is fix under the nuts, then the clamp will seize on the bolt shank, then nuts will be seized too.
  4. Fourthly, the tunnel liner plate are all designed in small size.
    If assemble the tunnel liner inside of the tunnel, the machines can not go into the tunnel, so we can only carry the tunnel liner plate by workers, then the tunnel liner plate has to be in light weight, normally each plate is not heavier than 30kg, to make sure one people can carry it.
